After being in development for almost two years, Anth Bailes’ supplement brand MaxxMuscle is finally ready to release its protein powder Tactical Whey. Just as the brand said in the beginning, Tactical Whey isn’t your typical protein competitor as there is a little more to it than just protein.
Nutrition profile
MaxxMuscle’s Tactical Whey is primarily a protein powder providing around 25g of protein from a blend of whey concentrate, isolate, and hydrolysate. The rest of the product’s nutrition profile based on its Chocolate flavor includes 2.1g of carbohydrates with 1.9g of that sugar, 2g of fat, and 128 calories.
Added benefits
A blend of whey proteins isn’t, of course, anything too out of the ordinary, however, it is the other features in Tactical Whey that make it a bit different. Alongside the protein, MaxxMuscle has also thrown in per serving, 158mg of Cavacurmin branded curcumin, an unknown amount of glutamine, and 525mg of MSM.
Anth Bailes has a few reasons as to why he added those extra ingredients to his protein powder. The glutamine is said to be in there to support stomach health, while the main goal behind the unique inclusion of curcumin and MSM is to help bring down inflammation within the body.
Availability
Tactical Whey is due to be available from stores as well as the official MaxxMuscle website sometime this week in four, 50 serving flavors. The supplement’s menu includes traditional tastes like Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry as well as the much more creative option Peanut Butter Popcorn.
