Last year for National Doughnut Day the creative team at the Dough Bar, put together three limited edition flavors for its delicious protein doughnut. The brand treated us to a doughnut made with real Froot Loops, a Cookie Dough option, and lastly, Cookies & Cream made with Quest’s Chocolate Beyond Cereal Bar.
For those that didn’t know, National Doughnut Day is going down once again this week on Friday the 1st of June. The Dough Bar is of course back once again celebrating the occasion from today right through until Friday, and it’s put together another lot of delicious looking, limited edition protein donuts.
For 2018, the Dough Bar has actually outdone itself, and instead of creating three limited edition donuts like last year, it’s done 11. Not too surprisingly, all of the creations the brand has come up with look absolutely incredible, and with such a wide variety, there is something in there for everyone.
The Dough Bar’s Doughnut Day flavors are as follows, Fruity Pebbles, Raspberry with Pistachio, Chilli Mango made up of a mango glaze and Tajin topping. Dark Chocolate with waffle cone pieces, English Toffee with Hershey’s Gold, Oreo Cheesecake with Oreo crumbles, and Eclipse Pie which is a marshmallow glaze with Hershey’s Fudge and peanuts on top.
The final four protein donut flavors are Nacho Cheese with real Cheetos crumbles, Pomegranate with dark chocolate chunks, Orange Creamsicle, and Matcha Green Tea with Mochi topping. As you can see, the Dough Bar has put together quite the variety including a number of mouthwatering options as well as a few very unique recipes.
