The retail giant Amazon, has followed up its monthly Prime membership price increase with another one for its annual option. It was back in January that the company changed its month to month Amazon Prime price from $10.99 to $12.99, although kept its annual cost at $99.
In just a couple of weeks time on May 11th, Amazon Prime’s full-year price will slightly increase from $99 up to $119. When you work that out across the year, that is only $10 per month, which is still better than both the old and new monthly cost.
For those of you that are current Amazon Prime subscribers, the date that things will change is actually a bit different. According to CNBC, you’ll have until June 16th to renew your membership at $99 per year; then from there, it’ll be moving to the new annual price of $119.
