The plant-based nutrition company Vega has massively expanded its lineup of products this week with an impressive total of five all-new releases. The list of products includes a variety of items, with three different protein bars, an on-the-go protein RTD, and a new version of the all-in-one shake, Vega One.
Vega Shake
We’ll start with the RTD, the Vega Protein Nutrition Shake. It is essentially a plant-based, on-the-go protein drink that comes with a few added ingredients for added benefits. Each bottle provides 20g of protein from a plant-based blend of pea, hemp, and pumpkin seed protein, along with added veggies and greens such as spinach and kale.
New Vega One
Next is the updated Vega One, where according to the brand it’s gone “all in for organic”. The supplement still features a plant-based, high protein formula now made with organic ingredients, although fans may also notice a difference in flavor. Vega has said the product’s been given a new taste and texture, intended to make drinking Vega One even more enjoyable.
Protein bars
Lastly, we have the three new Vega protein bars, which are different from one another but also quite similar. All of the bars feature the same kind of protein source with a blend of pea and brown rice protein. Where they separate themselves from one another is in their finer details.
The most interesting new Vega bar is the Vega Sport Protein Bar, combining the protein sources mentioned above with tart cherry for improved recovery and muscle soreness. You then have the more typical, chocolate coated Vega Protein Bar packing 20g of protein, then finally the smaller Vega Snack Protein Bar packing half as much protein at 10g.
