If you’ve ever tried the awesomely effective Ghost Size, at least before it got an actual flavor. You’ll know its original Neutral, unflavored option has the ability to taint almost any kind of shake. We found that even when mixed with our favorite protein powder, Size brings with it a pretty stale, bitter taste.
Recently Ghost finally launched an actual flavor for Ghost Size, with another Warheads collaboration called Warheads Sour Watermelon. After enjoying the original Neutral Size, we felt it necessary to get our hands on Warheads for review and find out if it’s good enough to make up for the only area the product lacks.
Warheads flavor
Being a flavored supplement, the Warheads Ghost Size isn’t obviously something you’ll want to mix with your protein powder. You could throw it in with your pre-workout or even an amino, although for the point of this review we’re only going to be talking about what it tastes like by itself.
Simply put, Ghost has done another incredible job putting together its Warheads flavor of Ghost Size. Not only does it taste like a typically well-flavored amino or pre-workout, but the brand has also given this one a very Warheads like sour hit, that we’d say is even better than the brand’s Warheads pre-workout flavors.
It seems the off taste we clearly noticed in the Neutral Ghost Size really plays into the sourness of the Warheads Sour Watermelon. There is as expected, a noticeable watermelon side to the recipe, which is balanced about even with that somewhat sweet, sour tang, making it an overall enjoyable flavor.
Summary
Basically, if you’ve tried the Neutral Ghost Size and can’t stand the flavor, but still want all of its impressive strength and muscle building benefits. Then Warheads Sour Watermelon is the answer to your prayers, as it gives you the ability to have it as a separate shake and enjoy it.
To be honest, we still prefer the Neutral Ghost Size, as despite it tasting a little off, even when mixed with other supplements. Having everything in the one post-workout shake is a nice convenience, and while it isn’t perfect, the taste is bearable.
