The protein snack company Justine’s, that recently rebranded and launched itself in the US through Amazon. Has introduced a new snack this month that’s along the same lines as its original Justine’s Cookie but at the same time very different.
The new Justine’s snack is called the Clever Cookie, and as you could probably tell by its name, it is another cookie style product. As mentioned though, it does set itself apart from the brand’s original snack in a slightly more mainstream manner.
Justine’s Clever Cookie is not an overly high protein product like the original Justine’s Cookie. It is in fact just a regular cookie with a bit of extra protein, intended to be a healthier alternative compared to all the typically sugar loaded, mainstream cookies on the market. The idea is, it’s just like your everyday cookie but without the sugar.
The macros making up each Clever Cookie are 5.3g of protein, 18.2g of fat (11g saturated), 20.4g of carbohydrates with only 200mg of sugar, and 356 calories. As mentioned and as you can see, the sugar count in the product is incredibly low sitting at just a fifth of a gram.
At the moment Justine’s Clever Cookie is exclusively available through its New Zealand website. It comes in boxes of ten, in the one Choc Chip flavor, and with the brand’s two box sale it’s running right now it’ll cost you just $1.90NZD ($1.39USD) per cookie.
