After a number of interesting and extremely tight battles, the dust has somewhat settled and we are now into the semifinals of the 2017 Protein Wars. Strangely enough, while last week’s quarterfinals were competitive, we’ve almost got a complete repeat of the battles in last year’s semifinals.
For those interested in the results from the quarterfinals, as per usual, some were close and some not so much. Nutrabio and Whey Protein Isolate totally dominated its group, getting 68% of the votes, and industry veteran Optimum Gold Standard Whey held off its strong competitors finishing on 42%.
MAN Sports and ISO-Protein came in with a close win against Dymtize ISO100, beating it by 13%, although the tightest race was with Ghost Whey, Quest Protein, and PES Select. Newcomer Ghost Whey was the one that came out on top of that, finishing just 9% ahead of PES Select.
We are now onto the voting for the 2017 Protein Wars semifinals where as mentioned, we have an almost complete repeat of last year’s semifinals. Two time champion Nutrabio Whey Protein Isolate is taking on Optimum Gold Standard Whey just like in 2016, with the other battle, of course, being between MAN ISO-Protein and Ghost Whey.
