ProSupps is planning on replacing its current whey isolate protein competitor PS Isolate, with an all-new supplement called ISO-P3. The replacement still uses whey isolate as a protein source, but as its name suggests, it has two other sources in there as well.
ISO-P3 nutrition profile
Like most isolate protein powders, ProSupps’ ISO-P3 features quite a lean nutrition profile. It’s led by a typical 25g of protein from three protein sources in whey isolate, milk isolate, and whey hydrolysate, with just 2g of carbohydrates, half a gram of fat, and no added sugar, gluten, or lactose.
ISO-P3 vs PS Isolate
If you’re wondering why ProSupps decided to go with a blend of isolates in ISO-P3 instead of just whey isolate like PS Isolate, it does have an explanation. Simply put the brand wanted to keep amino acid levels elevated in the body for longer than a formula with only whey isolate would allow.
The brand has solved that problem by adding milk isolate protein to ISO-P3. While the whey isolate and hydrolysate digest quite rapidly, the milk isolate is 80% casein, providing a more prolonged digestion. The result according to ProSupps is elevated amino acid levels for up to seven hours, which in turn prolongs your potential for muscle growth and recovery.
Banned substance tested
It is also worth mentioning that like the recently rebranded and reflavored PS Whey, as well as ProSupps’ other coming soon protein PS Casein. ISO-P3 is officially banned substance tested and proudly wears the Informed-Choice tick on its label.
Sizes and flavors
ProSupps is due to release ISO-P3 sometime in the very near future in a traditional 2lb tub and a 5lb, which is 25% bigger than PS Isolate’s heaviest size option. Both are due to drop in the same three flavors with Chocolate Milkshake, Vanilla, and Cookies & Cream.
