Only a week or two after being introduced to Performix’s first edible supplement, the two piece Protein Wafers, details on the brand’s second edible product have surfaced. Following on from the launch of the Protein Wafers come details on the protein packed cookie obviously titled, Performix Protein Cookie.
Macros and ingredients
We’ll go over the macros and ingredients first for the Performix Protein Cookie, as they are of course two of the most important details when it comes to protein snacks. The numbers do all vary from flavor to flavor, although like most protein cookies and bars it’s not by much with only a gram or two separating the protein, carbohydrates, and fat.
In the Chocolate Chunk Protein Cookie you get 20g of protein from a blend of whey concentrate, pea protein, and whey isolate, 23g of carbohydrates with 3g of that fiber and 2g sugar, 26g of fat (14g saturated), and a total of 360 calories. A few other ingredients Performix highlights for the supplement include avocado and coconut oil, and almond flour.
Just like the Protein Wafers, the Performix Protein Cookie is also Ingredient Optimized. For those that missed confirmation of what that is, the brand describes it as a unique technology that alters the molecular structure of protein to enhance the absorption and digestion of the product it’s in.
Flavors by Jimmy Schmidt
We now move on to the next area of importance when it comes to protein snacks, and that is of course taste. Looking at the images of the new Performix Protein Cookie, if the supplement actually tastes anything like its promotional shots, it is going to be one hell of a treat.
In total the deliciously pictured product comes in four different flavors, all put together by the award winning chef Jimmy Schmidt. The Performix Protein Cookie options are Chocolate Chunk, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Chocolate Toffee Crunch, and the only non-chocolate recipe Snickerdoodle.
Coming soon to GNC
At the moment the new Performix Protein Cookie is listed at GNC, but with what appears to be no stock available for purchase just yet. Fortunately, the listing does confirm exactly how much the great looking snack will cost when it arrives with a box of 10 cookies priced at $24.99, working out to $2.50 each.
