A week after officially unveiling its new and improved protein bar, PhD Nutrition has dropped a full list of details for its overhauled Diet Whey Bar. While the brand did recently reveal quite a bit of information about its updated supplement with flavors, major macros, and extra features, it didn’t go too deep into its formula and nutrition numbers.
Previously we knew that PhD’s 2017 edition of the Diet Whey Bar would be 30% larger with slightly less protein at 20g, under 2g of sugar and 200 calories, and added carnitine for weight loss support. The product is also coming in a whole new set of flavors including Double Choc Brownie, Triple Choc Cookie, Salted Caramel, Choc Peanut Butter, and Dark Choc Mocha.
The full list of macros for the new and improved PhD Diet Whey Bar is 20g of protein with milk protein as its primary protein source. 21g of carbohydrates with between 700mg and 1.9g of that sugar, 8.5 to 9.5g of fiber, 4.8 to 5.2g of fat (3.1-3.7g saturated), and a total of 199 calories.
Based on the speed in which details have been releasing for the updated Diet Whey Bar, it definitely looks like the bar will be hitting shelves very soon. We suspect the brand’s website will be the first place to stock the bar, and where PhD is also currently running a sale on its previous version of the bar at £19.99 (approx. $26 USD) per box.
