As well as launching its new Dual Protein Bar this month, Efectiv Nutrition has also finally unleashed the other edible product it introduced at this year’s BodyPower Expo. That item is the Pro & Oats spin-off Pro & Oats Flapjack, a bar combining the two ingredients in its title, protein and oats.
Previously we didn’t know everything about the flapjack, only that as mentioned, it combines protein and oats, just like the original on-the-go Pro & Oats snack. Now that it’s arrived we can confirm all of its details from macros and ingredients to flavors and price point.
Each flavor on the Pro & Oats Flapjack menu provides 14g of protein, 27.9g of carbohydrates with 9.9g of that sugar, 7.2g of fiber, 9.3g of fat (2.4g saturated), all for a total of 267 calories. The two main ingredients in the supplement are of course protein and oats, with the protein coming from a blend of whey isolate, whey concentrate, and calcium caseinate.
Just like Efectiv’s new Dual Protein Bar, the Pro & Oats Flapjack is now available for purchase directly from the UK brand’s website at efectivnutrition.com. The product is a little cheaper than Dual at £21 for a box of 12 bars, with three flavors to choose from in Cherry Bakewell, Toffee Oat, and Chocolate Orange.
