C4 Sport is a version of Cellucor’s famous C4 pre-workout family, that isn’t as widely available as some of the other spin-offs such as C4 Ripped, C4 Zero, or C4 Ultimate. The supplement is a simpler energy, hydration, and performance enhancing C4 that first showed up in the retail giant Walmart.
Sport Series protein
Cellucor now appears to finally be expanding its Sport family with a new post-workout protein powder called Cellucor Whey Sport. Much like C4 Sport, Whey Sport is fairly a straightforward product featuring a typical whey protein formula. It does, however, have a couple of extra ingredients to help out in not so typical areas.
Whey protein with extras
Each serving of the new Cellucor Whey Sport provides 30g of protein from a blend of whey concentrate and isolate, 5g of carbohydrates with 3g of that sugar, 3g of fat (half saturated), and a total of 170 calories. For those of you who are more used to seeing 25g of protein per serving, the other numbers based on a serving with that would work out to 4.16g of carbs, 2.5g of fat, and approximately 141 calories.
There are as mentioned a couple of extras in Whey Sport that give the supplement a few additional benefits. Those added ingredients are creatine monohydrate dosed at a relatively light 2.5g per serving for increased strength and muscle, and 2g of glutamine for help with recovery.
Free C4 Sport sample
Cellucor Whey Sport is due to be released sometime soon in the one 18 serving tub size weighing just under 2lbs, with two traditional tastes to choose from in Chocolate and Vanilla. According to previews of the product, it also looks like Whey Sport tubs are going to come with a free sample of the Sport Series’ pre-workout C4 Sport.
