Yesterday we posted about Cellucor’s expansion of its Sport Series, which previously consisted of just the pre-workout C4 Sport. The new product introduced was Whey Sport, a creatine and glutamine infused whey protein powder. Today we have details on another Sport Series formula called BCAA Sport.
Much like Whey, BCAA Sport is a straightforward supplement that is a lot like Cellucor’s Alpha Amino featuring electrolytes for hydration as well as BCAAs and other aminos for recovery. The product is, in fact, the final piece to the brand’s Sport Series system, with C4 Sport being the pre-workout, Whey Sport post-workout, and BCAA Sport for all day hydration and recovery.
Most of the main ingredients making up the new BCAA Sport come packed in a proprietary blend, with a 2.25g mix of taurine, alanine, arginine, lysine, phenylalanine, and tyrosine. Making up the other half of the supplement are electrolytes, glutamine at 2g per serving, and 4g of BCAAs at the usual ratio of 2:1:1.
When BCAA Sport starts hitting retailers, which according to Cellucor should be very soon, you’ll have just the one flavor to choose from. That flavor will be Cherry Limeade, with each tub of the product packing the usual 30 servings, matching up perfectly with a number of servings in the Sport Series pre-workout.
