Nutrabio was already known for its high standards and incredible level of transparency, as well as being the current Protein Wars champion. The brand has now taken things up a notch, with an industry first level of supplement testing.
The highly respected brand has launched a website called checkmysupps.com, where fans can go, enter their product’s lot number, and get exact test results of what’s in the product. This is different from the facts panel you’ll find on the supplement, as that lists ingredients at the doses Nutrabio claims. For example the brand’s Creatine Monohydrate claims to have 5g of creatine per serving, however when tested a particular lot might actually come out as having a little more, less, or the exact dose.
We did say that this is an industry first level of testing, as we’re pretty sure no other supplement company has set up something like this. There are brands that have or are doing it just for proteins, but no one that we know of has done it for its entire line-up.
It is also worth mentioning that Nutrabio’s database is still very new at the moment. Currently it only has test results on protein powders manufactured after the 31st of December, and a 1/3 of its non-protein products. That is obviously going to change moving forward as the brand is aiming to have all of its supplements in the database, it’s just going to take time to do so.
