Optimum launches the Fit Series like Opti-Lean line in the UK

opti-lean

Optimum Nutrition’s 2016 released Fit Series has now started showing up in the UK, or at least a line that looks and is named similar, but certainly has its differences. Instead of featuring a stimulant and a stimulant free fat burner, as well as a protein formula, the UK series is a combination of a stimulant fat burner, meal replacement powder, and a meal replacement bar. The products do also have different names, although the branding on them is almost identical.

The titles of the Fit Series or technically Opti-Fit Series supplements are in fact all exactly the same with the fat burner being called Opti-Lean, and the meal replacement bar and powder being called Opti-Lean Meal. As mentioned they do look very similar to the products we’re familiar with, they’re just themed with a light blue, turquoise instead of a light green.

The formulas behind the supplements are fairly straightforward, especially the Opti-Lean Meals. The stimulant fat burner is made up of six transparently dosed ingredients with each serving packing, 250mg of acetyl-l-carnitine, 200mg green tea, 150mg caffeine, 50mg each of guarana and cayenne pepper, and 10mg of black pepper.

As for Optimum’s other two Opti-Lean Meal named products, they’re both actually surprisingly similar in the macro department despite one being a powder and one being a bar. The Opti-Lean Meal powder has 25g of protein, 7.2g of carbohydrates (1.9g sugar), 6.6g of fat (2.8g saturated), and a total of 205 calories. The bar comes in with a little bit less than all of those numbers except for the carbs with 20g of protein, 5.7g of fat (2.5g saturated), 17g of carbs (6.8g sugar), and 200 calories.

You can see the labels for all of Optimum’s Opti-Lean supplements on the brand’s UK website at onacademy.co.uk. If you’re in the area and like what you see, the site does have an online store where you can purchase one of the Opti-Lean items. For now it just has the edible product in stock, the Opti-Lean Meal bar, and in just the one flavor with Salted Caramel.
