As promised, last week EFX Sports dropped the full list of ingredients in its upcoming pre-workout supplement, Training Ground Pre. Up until then we only knew of four features that would be in the product with 6.5g of citrulline, 1.5g kre-alkalyn, 1.2g beta-alanine, and 750mg of agmatine. Surprisingly there is quite a bit more to the pre-workout, as Training Ground Pre does in fact have a total of 10 main ingredients.
The other six making up the supplement add a fair bit of extra weight, with five of the six weighing in at one and half grams or more. From heaviest to lightest the new features are 2.6g of betaine, a solid 2.5g of HydroMax glycerol, 2g each of taurine and glycine, one a and half grams of tyrosine, and lastly 300mg of caffeine.
While all of those doses as well as the ones mentioned at the beginning, are based on Training Ground Pre’s maximum of one serving. As you can see with the inclusion of caffeine at 300mg, there is room to push the product a bit up to maybe a heaped scoop. Say the heaped scoop bumps it up a third, you’d be looking at the likes of 400mg of caffeine, 8.5g of citrulline, a gram of agmatine, and an even more impressive 3.3g of HydroMax.
Overall the upcoming EFX pre-workout certainly looks interesting. As always we won’t know how effective it is until we actually try it, which we should get to do very soon as the launch of the Training Ground Series is expected to be quite close.
