Back at this year’s Salon Mondial Fitness Expo in France, as it always does Scitec Nutrition unveiled a massive amount of new supplements. We saw BCAA Chews, a couple of shot formulas, and two entirely new series. One of those new series was the Scitec Pro Line, a collection of products put together with some of the brand’s pro athletes. Today we’ve finally got details on one of those Pro Line items, the Cedric McMillan inspired Scitec Intra-Edge.
Just as the title of Intra-Edge suggests, Cedric McMillan’s Pro Line supplement is indeed an intra-workout formula. It is also a rather large product weighing in at 24g per serving, which is mostly because it features a large amount of Cluster Dextrin. Each two scoop serving of Scitec Intra-Edge packs 15g of the aforementioned Cluster Dextrin. As well as 2.5g of BCAAs at a 2:1:1 ratio, a gram each of citrulline and glutamine, 900mg taurine, 750mg glycerol monostearate, and half a gram each of glycine and propionyl l-carnitine.
The most interesting thing about Scitec Intra-Edge isn’t that the brand has packed it with a fair bit, but that it’s not exactly like any of its other intra-workout competitors. Usually when Scitec does something in an area it’s been before there are some similarities, although the Pro Line intra-workout is quite a different mix for the European brand.
Based on the fact that Intra-Edge is now listed on Scitec’s website, you can probably expect to see it available in stores very soon. We should also mentioned that fans are unfortunately only going to have one size and flavor to choose from with a 30 serving Fruit Punch.
