UK brand PhD Nutrition has unveiled the all new supplement it originally started teasing at the beginning of the week. Based on the few details the brand released a few days back, our guess at what the previously mystery product would be was a meal replacement of some kind or even a post-workout. As it turns out we weren’t too far off as today PhD has introduced its new supplement, Protein Superfood, a natural protein powder featuring a whole lot of extras.

Firstly we’re going to go over the macros in each of PhD’s latest creation’s 50g servings. The brand has set the product’s protein at a rather high 29g, which is made up of brown rice, pea isolate and hemp protein. Moving on down the list you have 11.7g of carbohydrates (1.8g sugar, 2.7g fiber), 3g of fat (1g saturated), and a total of 195 calories.

As for all the extras that really make Protein Superfood an interesting formula, PhD has also thrown in a blend of fruits, berries, wholefoods and greens. As well as yerba mate, matcha tea, goji, acai, baobab and pomegranate powders. The supplement is essentially exactly what it’s described as on its tub, a “high protein greens and wholefoods blend”.

For more information on the latest from PhD Nutrition, you can head on over to its website where Protein Superfood is also already available for purchase. The brand has launched the product in just the one 500g tub size, with three flavors to choose from in Chocolate, Banana and Super Berries.

If you decide you like what you see but don’t want to purchase Protein Superfood direct from PhD, there is actually only one other place you can pick it up. PhD’s new complete, natural protein solution is in fact exclusively available at just one other location, Holland and Barrett. Unfortunately the supplement’s regular price isn’t any different from the brand’s, however just for the launch of it, Holland and Barrett is discounting it to £19.99.
