Of all the brands that made headlines last year, there was one that managed to get a lot of attention almost every time it introduced or even teased something. That brand was none other than Dedicated Nutrition, who today officially takes the title of top brand of 2015. Throughout the year Dedicated managed to make a lot of noise with innovative supplements, stylish gear and a number of other releases, all while not even being available in the US.
The biggest year ever for Dedicated started with a reformulated version of its BCAA formula BCAA Sensation. There were two things that made this one a little more interesting than expected. The first thing was that the brand reformulated BCAA Sensation with all the right changes, keeping almost everything the same, adding two ingredients from its #1 pre-workout Unstoppable, and doubling its dose of leucine. The second thing that made the product special was that it featured Dedicated’s all new branding, a look that would later be put on every one of its supplements.
After all the early excitement from BCAA Sensation, fans were treated to more items for the hardcore Dedicated clothing collection. A handful of tees were added to the line which included the “Get Shit Done”, “99 Problems But A Pump Ain’t One”, and the “Never Back Down” shirts. The three tees were all revealed and released between January and February as well as custom pair of Dedicated earbud headphones. The action then continued in February and March as the brand named four upcoming products, IG-One, Joint, Gainz and Headshot.
Following on from all the teasers, in April we got a look at the first entirely new supplement from Dedicated with Gainz. From there it was just one after another, as between April and the end of July not only did the brand launch its previously teased four, but it also dropped a number of other new products.
The list of supplements that arrived in the middle of the year included the quality gainer Gainz, the simple and self-explanatory formula Joint, the powerful energy shot Headshot. An all new very unique version of the now top rated multi-vitamin Dedicated Pack, the nutrient repartitioner IG-One, and reformulations of Vaso-Grow, Dominate and Epic. As you can see it is one helluva a list, totaling four entirely new and four updated products, all released within the span of just four months. If you’ve seen any of them up close you’ll also know they’re all well put together, with Dedicated giving solid explanations for each and every ingredient that’s in the supplements.
Not too long after Dedicated’s busy few months, the brand was already onto teasing a whole bunch of others. The products Dedicated named but hadn’t released any more information on were Re-Grow, Edge and Enigma, as well as an all new version of its protein powder Fusion Pro. All four of those were further detailed between August and late November confirming Re-Grow as a sleep aid, Enigma a myostatin formula, and Edge as a creative protein infused intra-workout. The updated Fusion Pro was also in the mix which got a lot of attention due to it being flavored by an ice-cream company, resulting in five delicious sounding flavors.
Another thing we do have to mention is that while all the new supplements were being introduced, Dedicated did not stop with its clothing. Following on from its three tees and earbuds earlier in the year, the brand launched three more shirts with the “Big F#cking Gainz”, “Game Time Bitches” and the fan designed “Push F#cking Harder” tees. On top of those three there was also an “I Am Dedicated” hoodie and a similarly styled pair of track pants, the “Time To Get F#cking Serious!” stringer, and basketball style shorts and a tank.
To close out the year Dedicated didn’t reveal or release any more entirely new products or reformulations, however it did have a handful of flavors and an extremely exciting announcement. The new flavors were Lemon Shock Headshot, and three limited edition options for Fusion Pro with Chocolate Chip and Mint Ice Cream, White Chocolate and Raspberry Ice Cream, and Tropical Coconut Paradise Sorbet. As for the exciting announcement the brand basically confirmed that it had finished its follow up to the still #1 ranked pre-workout Unstoppable, saying that the supplement is going to be well worth the wait.
Dedicated unstoppable in 2015
As you can see Dedicated really did it all last year. If it wasn’t teasing a new supplement it was releasing one, and if it wasn’t doing either of those it was adding to its hardcore clothing line. The products were creative, different or sometimes just simple, either way they were always interesting. Moving into 2016 we really don’t expect Dedicated to have a year as good as it did in 2015, although with Unstoppable V2 launching soon it is set up to start strong.
