Muscletech Lab Series Whey as straightforward as expected

Following on from the unveiling of Muscletech’s upcoming Bodybuilding.com exclusive Lab Series. Everything you need to know about one of the line’s two supplements has now been released. The product being put in the spotlight today is the Lab Series Whey Advanced, a protein powder that we did already know a bit about. Based on the details previously revealed we figured the supplement would be a straightforward protein, which is exactly what it’s turned out to be.

Muscletech’s Lab Series Whey Advanced features all the usual macros with per serving, 25g of protein, 3g of carbohydrates (2g sugar), 2g of fat (1.5g saturated), and a total of 130 calories. The product does separate itself a little with its combination of protein sources, bringing together a blend of whey peptides, whey isolate and whey isolate 97%. Whey protein concentrate is also in the mix, although it does sit outside Whey Advanced’s main protein blend and comes after it in the supplement’s other ingredients list.

When it comes to flavors and sizes, Muscletech has actually put together quite a few for the Lab Series Whey Advanced. The product is due to be available in a total of four flavors, Delicious Strawberry, Triple Chocolate Brownie, Cookies & Cream, and French Vanilla Creme. All four are coming in two sizes, a 26 or 27 serving 2lb and a 65 or 66 serving 5lb. There is also a three serving trial size on the list, however unlike the 2 and 5lbs it will only have one flavor on its menu with Triple Chocolate Brownie.

The one detail left to be confirmed now is the price on the supplement, which will of course be revealed when the Lab Series Whey Advanced is launched. Unfortunately we don’t yet know when that’s going to happen, just that Bodybuilding.com is going to be the only place stocking it.
