Ever since Muscletech unveiled Ultra Carnitine 3X, it’s almost been non-stop with new supplements for the brand’s SX-7 Black Onyx Series. That continues here today as yet another product for the line has surfaced, introducing the amino formula Amino 4XL. While most of the Black Onyx supplements are quite individual, that’s not exactly the case for Amino 4XL as it actually has a lot in common with Muscletech’s Performance Series amino, Amino Build Next Gen.
Much like Amino Build Next Gen, Amino 4XL features a variety of ingredients with a total of 10, or technically 12. Starting from the top the product packs 5.6g of BCAAs at a ratio of 5:1:1, with the 4g of leucine being made up of instantized leucine, ActiveTR leucine, and PepForm leucine peptides. Moving on down the list we have 1g each of taurine and glutamine just like Amino Build Next Gen, although half a gram of citrulline which is in fact more like the original Amino Build.
Taking up the last four spaces on Amino 4XL’s label is Peak ATP dosed at 200mg. Then an electrolyte blend very similar to Amino Build Next Gen’s featuring 65mg of sodium chloride, 55mg dipotassium phophate and 50.5mg of coconut water. All together the formula is definitely a lot like Amino Build Next Gen, as well as the original Amino Build for that matter. However it’s interesting combination of leucines, and inclusion of Peak ATP do give it a much needed point of difference.
For a closer look at Amino 4XL we have added its official facts panel down below, where you can see everything individually dosed except for the three leucines. As for when you can get your hands on the supplement, at the moment all we know is that Amino 4XL is coming soon in at least one size and flavor with a Fruit Punch Explosion 25 scoop.
