Amino Build Next Gen drops citrulline malate for an electrolyte blend

By now you’ve probably heard about Muscletech’s follow up to its Performance Series Amino Build with Amino Build Next Gen. The brand had been teasing that one for quite some time and even followed through on delivering a bit of a surprise by also unveiling a caffeinated version with Amino Build Next Gen Energized. Up until now all we really knew about the supplements were their names, flavors and that the Energized version would be caffeinated. Today we’ve finally got the remaining pieces to the puzzle with the labels behind Muscletech’s Amino Build Next Gens, confirming the few changes the brand has made formula wise.

Basically the brand has kept most of the original Amino Build combination intact carrying over the 4g of 2:1:1 BCAAs, half a gram each of taurine, glutamine and alanine, and the 1.25g of betaine. The one ingredient missing from that list is the 500mg of citrulline malate, which Muscletech has replaced with an electrolyte blend made of four features including coconut water and watermelon juice. As for what separates the regular Amino Build Next Gen and Amino Build Next Gen Energized, all the brand has added is an extra 50mg of caffeine. Nothing has been removed or cut down for the ingredient, it’s essentially identical just with 50mg of caffeine thrown in.

For a closer look at the Amino Build Next Gen formula we have added its label down below, although only the energized version. We do have both but figured it’d just be easier to add the caffeinated facts panel, as it is identical to the regular, just caffeinated.
