Following on from its first lot of new releases in quite some time with the Proteinissimo and Jumbo bars, this week Scitec Nutrition has introduced another all new supplement. The latest from the European brand is titled Ami-NO Xpress, not to be confused with its current BCAA formula BCAA Xpress. While the two Xpress products’ names are somewhat similar, it is the complete opposite when you compare their contents. Scitec’s new Ami-NO Xpress may have BCAAs just like BCAA Xpress, however it’s the rest of the supplement’s 22g serving that really sets it apart.
Ami-NO Xpress is basically broken up into four proprietary blends, aminos, recovery, BCAAs and a bit of a performance matrix. Starting with the BCAAs you have a 5g blend at the traditional 2:1:1 ratio, which is essentially what’s in every serving of BCAA Xpress. Next is the amino matrix combining a gram each of taurine, glutamine and tyrosine, then the recovery blend that’s actually more of a vitamin mix. Last but not least is the biggest one of the four the Ami-NO Xpress matrix featuring 2.5g of betaine anhydrous, 1.531g l-citrulline, 1.5g beta-alanine, half a gram of arginine and 250mg of AAKG (2:1).
While Ami-NO Xpress does include a wide variety of ingredients, Scitec has designed the product for just the one window as it is a dedicated intra-workout formula. You can read more about the supplement on the brand’s official website and expect to see Ami-NO Xpress in stores soon in two 20 serving flavors, Orange Mango and Peach Ice Tea.
