Previously we didn’t quite know if Dedicated Nutrition was in fact going to release its reformulated version of the number one pre-workout Unstoppable, this year. We knew the supplement was coming, but didn’t have any kind of deadline for it. This week the brand has put together its first real teaser for the product, giving it an official name with Unstoppable V2, as well as suggesting the supplement may actually be available sometime soon.
While there isn’t anymore details to the Unstoppable V2 update outside the fact Dedicated is now teasing the product, we figured this would also be a good time to talk about what kind of pre-workout V2 needs to be. We say “needs to” as at the moment Unstoppable is still ranked number one on our list of top ten pre-workouts, a position the brand will probably want to hold on to. For Dedicated to do that it will need to make V2 equally as effective as the original or better. Anything less and it will be dethroned as there are a lot of supplements close behind it, including ANS Ritual, the number one pre-workout before Unstoppable came along.
Just to make things interesting and let Dedicated know what kind of odds it’s up against, we’ve got a few facts to lay out. Firstly the last product to be on top and reformulate is no longer even in the top 10. Secondly of all the reformulated AMP citrate supplements we’ve tried, none of them have been better than their predecessors. Lastly, and this is more of a challenge to Dedicated, if Unstoppable V2 does keep the number one spot it will be the first sequel ever to maintain its space, or actually just remain in the top ten.
In short we’re definitely excited to see what Dedicated comes up with for Unstoppable V2. As small as the chance is that the brand improves on the original experience, we are talking about the company that took four years to formulate its first pre-workout. While we don’t how long it’s taken or going to take Dedicated to finish Unstoppable V2, we can’t imagine the brand launching the sequel product until it’s 100% certain that it’s better.
