European brand Scitec Nutrition has actually gone and done something we’ve never seen it do. This week the brand has launched three new supplements, all of which are protein bars. The products are the Proteinissimo bar available in two sizes, 30 and 50g, and a bar version of Scitec’s mass gainer Jumbo. While three new supplements at once isn’t anything new from Scitec, it’s the fact that they’re exclusive to a single retailer that’s something we’ve never seen the brand do.
The Proteinissimo bars and significantly bigger Jumbo bar at the moment are only available at the online store Fitadium. Scitec has said that is the way it will stay through until the middle of next month, when presumably the bars will go on sale everywhere else. It is also worth mentioning that the brand is only promoting the bars as web exclusives to Fitadium, suggesting they may be in fact be on shelves in physical stores.
If you’re wondering what the numbers are for the Proteinissimo and Jumbo bars, while they aren’t listed on Fitadium’s website we do have them. Starting with the two Proteinissimo products, they are actually separated by more than just their size. The regular version varies from flavor to flavor with 15-16g of protein, 16-22g of carbohydrates (15-17g sugar), 3.5-5.3g of fat (2-2.8g saturated) and 160-193 calories. As for the smaller one its official title is Proteinissimo Reduced Carbs, which does result in a slightly different balance of 8.6/8.8g of protein, 7.7/9.3g of carbohydrates (3.3/3.4g sugar), 2.9/3.3g of fat (1.5/1.7 saturated) and 104/107 calories.
Last but not least we have the Jumbo bar, the biggest of the three in every area possible. In total the edible Jumbo packs a heavy 50g of protein with 26g of carbohydrates (8.8g sugar), 8.2g of fat (5g saturated), and 378 calories.

It has the Reduced Carbs Proteinissimo at 36,90€ for a box of 30 in Chocolate Raspberry Cream and Chocolate Coffee Cake. The regular Proteinissimo at 21,90€ for a box of 15 in Vanilla Caramel Crunch, Macchiato Caramel Crunch and Chocolate Sensation. And the Jumbo bar also in boxes of 15 priced at 39,90€ in Double Chocolate Cookie and Chocolate Caramel Crunch.
