You’ve all likely seen the original meal management system the 6 Pack Bag. Since it arrived we’ve seen a few others like it come along such as the Isolator Fitness IsoBag and Fitmark’s incredibly stylish competitor the Shield. Myprotein now brings you something a little different for the meal bag market introducing the 8 Pack Bag. If you’re wondering what makes it so different, it is all in its name, as the product has in fact been designed to carry two more meals than any of the other competitors.
While you may be thinking eight meals is a bit extreme and would take up too much space, you really have to see the entire design. Myprotein’s 8 Pack Bag actually seems to comfortably fit all eight meals, stacking them vertically. What makes the item even more interesting is that instead of being a shoulder bag like all the other meal management systems, the 8 Pack Bag has been put together as a backpack. The back strap design really introduces a new take on vertically stacked meal bags, as up until now the closest thing we’ve seen would be Isolator’s Harness + IsoBag, however the IsoBag does stack its meals side by side in threes.
If the amount of meals the 8 Pack Bag can handle wasn’t different enough, as well as its overall design, Myprotein takes things even further with the product’s price. Despite the fact that it only comes in the one black color and doesn’t appear to be big on quality looking at its containers, the 8 Pack Bag is a lot cheaper than Isolator, Fitmark or 6 Pack at £29.99 (roughly $45 US). At the moment the item is only available on the brand’s main website, although if it proves to be successful we imagine Myprotein will look at spreading it out into other markets.
It also worth mentioning that Myprotein does have another version of the 8 Pack Bag coming. While it’s not listed on its website just yet a Holdall version has been confirmed, which will still give you room for the eight meals but is a shoulder style bag stacking the eight side by side in fours.
