PhD’s mystery supplement revealed to be a Diet Whey RTD

While we weren’t expecting PhD Nutrition’s big reveal until later today, details on the brand’s mystery supplement have now come in. Just as we suspected the latest from PhD is in fact a ready-to-drink protein solution available in three flavors, Belgian Chocolate, Strawberry Delight and Banana. The official title of the product is Diet Whey RTD, basically a liquid spin off their mainstream protein powder of the same name.

As we already saw yesterday, PhD’s Diet Whey RTDs feature a strong dose of protein at 26g, except for Belgian Chocolate as it sits 1g higher at 27g. With all the details on the supplement now available we can confirm the rest of the Diet Whey RTD macros which are 10g of carbohydrates (9g sugar), 1g of fat (0.1g saturated), and a total of 158 calories. Those numbers are based on the Belgian Chocolate Diet Whey RTD, although if the Strawberry Delight and Banana’s protein doses are anything to by we can’t imagine there being too much difference in the other areas. To ensure it lives up to its weight loss suggesting name, the brand has also packed the Diet Whey RTD with two common fat burning ingredients in green tea and carnitine.

Much like the original powder, PhD’s Diet Whey RTD keep things pretty simple for an on-the-go protein solution. The product lists all the necessary numbers as well as a few bonus features, and is expected to be available at PhD stockists very soon.
