Bodybuilding.com’s new and improved B-Elite Fuel meals have arrived, re-launching the healthy frozen meal service with a handful of changes. In the store’s original announcement they said the B-Elite Fuel line was going to have bigger portions, better pricing, and the all new High Protein Pancake option. Bodybuilding.com has held on to all three promises, adding their new meal, introducing better pricing options, although we’re not entirely certain on the bigger portions.
Since we already knew about the High Protein Pancakes there aren’t any surprises with that. The more interesting details are portions and price, which we will start off with the latter. Basically what the store appear to mean by better pricing is that there aren’t tiers anymore. For those that weren’t around when the B-Elite Fuel service first arrived, you had three plans to choose from, Essential, Premium and Premium+.
If you went with Essential you had 4 meals to choose from, however it only cost you $99.98 for 14 meals. The Premium on the other hand had 7 meals but cost $111.48 for 14, and the Premium+ had all 11 options and was the most expensive at $123.76. For Bodybuilding.com’s new and improved service there are no more plans just $99.86 for your choice of any 12 meals instead of 14, which does only make it cheaper than the Premium+ once was.

As for the bigger portions promised by Bodybuilding.com, we went through and compared the 11 maintained meals. We looked at just a few points and came up with a number of things worth mentioning. Of the 11 meals, 3 are smaller in size and 8 bigger, 7 have less protein, 3 have more and 1 has the same, and lastly all except one of the 11 have more carbohydrates. Looking at the numbers overall basically the B-Elite meals are bigger in size, although have gained carbs and lost protein.
In the end Bodybuilding.com did follow through on all their promises for the new and improved B-Elite Elite service, with maybe a few additional things worth mentioning such as simpler pricing (not necessarily better) and lower protein, higher carbohydrates. Either way all 12 meals are now in stock and available for purchase from the store’s B-Elite Fuel page.
