Mutant recently confirmed that they would be re-entering the pre-workout market with a new supplement called Mutant Madness. While the product doesn’t appear to be ready for the US or Canada just yet, it is ready to go for Europe. Whether or not the formula stays the same for when Mutant Madness does hit the US, you have to think the current version will have at least some things in common with whatever else the brand ends up putting together. Either way, similar or not, here today we have the ingredients behind the latest from Mutant.
One of the things that immediately separates the new Mutant Madness from the brand’s last pre-workout effort, Mutant Mayhem, is that it is 100% transparent. Mutant do list the supplement’s ingredients in blends, however they are all followed by individual doses. Thanks to that transparency we know Mutant Madness packs 1.5g of creatine monohydrate, 1.25g beta-alanine, 1g arginine/citrulline (1:1 blend), 500mg citric-malic acid blend, 10mg cinnamon, 5mg each of sprouted barley, olive leaf and BioPerine. There is of course energy in the product which comes by way of a 500mg 5-Caffeine Matrix. The five feature proprietary is made up coffea arabica, theobroma, yerba mate, green tea and green coffee bean, all together giving you 335mg of caffeine.
Looking at the caffeine amount, you would think Mutant Madness is limited to one scoop unfortunately leaving you with a lot less beta-alanine than usual. As it turns out the latest from Mutant does in fact have a maximum of two scoops in any 24 hour period. Whether you choose to do those two together is up to you, although it will double all the doses we just mentioned. While 2.5g of beta-alanine is certainly a lot better as well as 3g of creatine monohydrate, the multi-sourced caffeine total will move to a massive 670mg.
