Syntha 6 Edge led by the same 2 protein forms as Syntha 6

Details on BSN’s originally FIBO debuted Syntha 6 Edge have been released, finally giving us a look at what’s inside the protein powder. Previously we could only really confirm the name of the supplement as well as its protein and sugar doses per serving. Today we have the complete list of Syntha 6 Edge macros for you with 24g of protein, 5g of carbohydrates (1.5g sugar), 3.5g of fat (0.7g saturated), and a total of 153 calories. While the numbers do give us more information than we had before it doesn’t answer the question we had when we first saw Syntha 6 Edge.

With already quite a few protein powders available you have to wonder what BSN have done to separate this from Syntha 6, Syntha Isolate, Isoburn and Whey DNA. It turns out nothing extra has been added to the product outside of all the usual ingredients, leaving you to think Syntha 6 Edge’s protein forms are the difference. In total BSN have packed their supplement with six sources, whey concentrate, isolate and hydrolysed isolate, milk concentrate, micellar casein and calcium caseinate. If you’re wondering how that compares to the other BSN proteins, believe it or not four of those are in the original Syntha 6’s blend which is also led by the same two forms, whey concentrate and isolate. Based on that and the macros, the product actually doesn’t have as much of an “edge” as you’d think looking at its name.

As mentioned back when we first saw Syntha 6 Edge at FIBO in Germany, there was the chance the supplement would be exclusive to Europe. That is quickly becoming more and more likely as the product has now shown up in the area at the likes of Predator Nutrition, with no signs of it anywhere else.
