Like all exciting new pre-workouts, when Athletic Edge’s new SteelEdge was confirmed the big mystery was what is in the formula? Today we have the answer to that question or at least what could be most of the answer. The reason we don’t know if what we have is all that will be in SteelEdge is because we don’t have its facts panel, just Athletic Edge’s own description of the supplement. In the description we get a handful of highlights and doses of ingredients for pump, energy, focus, recovery and endurance. Starting it off for SteelEdge we have 4g of citrulline malate (2:1), 6g waxy maize (carbohydrates), 750mg each of acetyl-L-carnitine and choline bitartrate. 300mg caffeine, 50mg sustained release caffeine, 125mg of the patented Sensoril ashwagandha, 1.6g CarnoSyn beta alanine, 3g creatine monohydrate and 1.5g of betaine. Based on all those numbers you’re looking at a serving size over 18g, which is likely to be the maximum since it has 350mg of caffeine in total. While we did say that may not be all that’s in SteelEdge, 10 ingredients is a lot so there is a good chance there isn’t anything else. Whether or not there is any more features to the product you can safely say that fans of Athletic Edge’s current pre-workout PreSurge are in for an all new experience. The only ingredients the brand appear to have actually carried over for their latest energizer are betaine, creatine and of course caffeine. With this information now released you have to assume the new Athletic Edge line is closer than ever, especially since we are approaching three months from when the brand first announced their big change.
Update: Facts panel has been added below and Athletic Edge have confirmed that SteelEdge will be shipping out next week.
