As we’ve said on numerous occasions Myprotein’s invasion of the US market isn’t going to go unnoticed. If their impressive prices don’t do any damage than their intended selection of 1,200 different products will definitely make sure you know who they are. Over the past month we have seen the European brand drop a few previews of just how powerful their pricing is with the $50 5.5lb Impact Whey as well as a $45 1kg bag of unflavored BCAAs. It seems Myprotein’s advantage is size, as very few companies produce anything like a 1kg BCAA, and while most do 5lb proteins Impact Whey goes that step further with 5.5lb. Just to give you more of an idea on what the brand have in their arsenal we’ve got some examples of other dangerous sizes Myprotein produce that some will no doubt find suitable for their stacks. Firstly the unflavored BCAA does in fact have flavored versions with 9 on the menu, although not all of them are available for the 1kg bag. The same goes for Myprotein’s Creatine Monohydrate and L Glutamine as they also have 9 options on the menu with sizes going from 250g all the way up to 1kg. Moving on from the basic powders the brand’s Omega 3 may be something else that surprises you with its range of sizes. While at the moment Bodybuilding.com only have the 90 and 250 softgel bottles there are two other volumes, a massive 1000 count and an even larger 6000. Cost effectiveness on those two will of course be incredible although there is one other that you’ll like especially if the 100 serving Impact Whey impressed you. Myprotein do have a 5kg or 11lb bag of Impact Whey packing a very strong 200 servings. These are of course all things we only hope are included in the brand’s 1,200 piece selection for the US, and will be interesting to see the costs they get if and when they arrive.
