Today we’ve got our first look at Ion, Performix’s upcoming pre-workout that was confirmed last week. The supplement is one of the brand’s two new products they have on the way, with Ion continuing on the Performix tradition of “Terra Intelligent Dosing”. On the face of the formula the brand do list a number of important details, most importantly that the supplement contains three patented ingredients. Seeing as we don’t yet have the pre-workout’s facts panel, this does give us a good idea of what to expect when it arrives. Probably the most common feature that falls under the patented banner would be CarnoSyn beta-alanine, an ingredient you could say is a shoe-in for the formula. Other possibilities would be the usual BioPerine black pepper, AgmaPure or AgmaMax agmatine, HydroMax glycerol, or even one of the many creatines out there. A few more bits of information we can see in the Performix Ion preview include a 234g tub weight with 45 servings, working out to be 5.2g a serving. As for flavors, following on from the brand’s only other drinkable effort the iceberry SST, Performix have gone a little more traditional with blue ice and ice punch. The brand’s major stockist GNC, are expected to be getting Ion as early as next week with the product’s official list of contents definitely coming before then.
