Natural Gold Standard finally gets Optimum's Whey and Casein foil label

As Optimum Nutrition’s new Protein Energy makes itself known over at the Vitamin Shoppe, and fans wait on the coming of two tastes from last year’s voting competition with key lime pie and salted caramel. News has come in of a bit of a cosmetic update to one of the veteran brand’s Gold Standard 100% Whey variants.

Religious users of Optimum’s almost legendary protein powder will know the internationally available supplement comes in a number of different versions such as 100% Casein, 100% Egg, and the edition we’re talking about today the naturally flavored 100% Whey. The natural variant of the popular product separates itself with more than a slightly different title, as it is also colored in a light cream, as opposed to 100% Whey’s traditional red.

Over the past year or so the difference has increased a little as Optimum have slowly upgraded Gold Standard Whey as well as Casein to a foiled label, something we saw a couple years back at the Olympia Expo. Natural Gold Standard has also now shown up with the shiner theme, and is expected to be brightening up shelves very soon. Coincidentally a number of stores are currently listing some of the supplement’s options as out of stock, hinting that they’ll possibly have the foil on return.
