After we got a sneak peek at Beast Sport’s upcoming simple supplements back at the Olympia, the brand followed up with a closer look at two of those five products. The two that were further detailed were CLA 1250 and Glutamine, with the latter proving that Beast weren’t just putting together your average individuals. The brand have now given us a closer look at the remaining three from their basic line of supplements, Fish Oil, Carnitine and the rather unique BCAA 5:1:4. Starting out with the simplest one of three we have Fish Oil, a citrus flavored softgel formula packing 1g of fish oil per gel, broken down to 70% omega 3s. Next is the 90 serving Carnitine where things get a little more interesting, as the products uses a 1g four form blend made up of acetyl l-carnitine, l-tartrate, propionyl and regular l-carnitine. Last but certainly not least is Beast’s BCAA, a supplement that doesn’t call on the common 2:1:1, or any leucine with an even isoleucine and valine ratio. The branched chain amino uses it’s title mentioned 5:1:4 ratio across a 6g eight capsule serving, with 30 per bottle. Prices will of course vary from store to store, but the Beast basics are looking quite competitive especially the Carnitine which essentially packs 90g of carnitine for less than $30.
