Gamma Labs signature supplement G Fuel, possibly their most well known product, has been around for quite some time. We have previously posted about it on several occasions highlighting new flavors, discounts and seasonal promotions. Unfortunately for us it was one of the few veteran formulas we actually never got around to trying, until now. Back in April a full size peach mango tub fell into our laps, which we decided to crack open and see what the supplement is all about. Almost two months later we are at the bottom of the bottle, having had more than enough experience with G Fuel to put together today’s review.
First things first, we didn’t take G Fuel as a pre-workout or before any kind physical activity. We used it for the label promoted effects, faster reaction times and improved concentration. Of those two effects we can say that Gamma do deliver on both promises. With G Fuel’s energy, focus and anti-oxidant complexes going beyond what we expected of them, resulting in an overly effective one of a kind experience.
Basically it all starts about five or ten minutes after you throw back your desired serving size. There is no kick or sudden rush of energy, G Fuel comes in a wave of alertness. You won’t suddenly feel the urge to lift weights or run a mile, more like do something where your accelerated, and now wide awake mind would be useful. Things like studying, work requiring any sort of concentration, and of course what the brand’s Gamma Gamers website is dedicated to, gaming. You will find thinking clearly much easier, breaking down problems much simpler, and finding answers to issues much more obvious. The feeling is quite difficult to put into words, you could almost say it’s like the focus effect in a pre-workout. Although instead of having your mind centered on one thing or a single task, it can take on board multiple thoughts requiring equal amounts of concentration.
While an increase in alertness and mind acceleration isn’t anything we haven’t seen before, Gamma’s G Fuel does bring one more important thing to the table. In combination with all the mental effects, the product packs a very strong yet smooth dose of energy. It’s not a physical type of energy, as the shot actually gets directed to where everything else is going, amplifying your mind activity even more. Whether you’re tired, lazy or already wide eyed, the energy will also see that you get up and don’t come off your high for a good four or so hours. The best thing is that once the supplement kicks into top gear, which takes around 30 minutes to build to. G Fuel maintains it’s level of power right through that four or so hours. It doesn’t exactly have a climax, just an effectiveness that unlike a lot of energizers out there, the product manages to maintain.
Most of the effects mentioned probably don’t sound that interesting. For us however, G Fuel is something we’ve been looking for. It’s not an over the top formula, nor is it ineffective, not in the slightest. It sits right in the middle, almost like an amplified energy drink doing more than just waking you up, intensifying your senses, concentration and mind as well. The best part about it all is that G Fuel delivers it’s very reliable performance in a single serving, that we surprisingly dropped to half or three quarters on some occasions and still had results. The best way to describe Gamma’s veteran formula would be as an anytime wake up call, quick kick or work aid. Basically if you don’t want the intensity of a pre-workout, but want something a lot stronger than an energy drink, G Fuel is what you’re looking for.
