Optimum Nutrition’s popular and extremely cost effective multi-vitamin Opti-Men has been reformulated for 2014. The supplement is being advertised with a much larger dose of vitamin D, seeing the original’s amount multiplied by five to 1,500IU. Other areas the brand have made changes include calcium down from 200 to 50mg, magnesium dropped by 20 to 80mg, half the amount zinc (citrate swapped for oxide) at 15mg, and manganese now 2mg as opposed to 5mg. Moving outside the vitamins and minerals department, Optimum have also made some modifications to Opti-Men’s blends seeing the Amino complex increased by 200mg, the Viri matrix cut down from 525 to 50mg, and the Phyto blend shuffled around resulting in a 140mg loss. We don’t expect stores to be making any sort of an announcement or introduction for the updated product. But to help tell it apart from it’s predecessor be on the look out for the all new bottle size of 150 tablets.
