Review of the above average Phenbuterol, MuscleMed’s fat burner held back by limit

Phenbuterol is one of the many supplements MuscleMeds launched this year, with the other releases being things like Power Test, NO Bull XMT, and the highly anticipated Secret Sauce. While we are still interested in getting a hold of the very complete post-workout Secret Sauce to see what it can do, the fat burner Phenbuterol was the first product we were able to purchase and get in line to try out. Today after running it through a number of people for a little over two weeks. We have seen what the supplement has to offer and are pleased to bring you our review of MuscleMed’s Phenbuterol.

The first thing we noticed about Phenbuterol is it’s single capsule serving. Maybe in a multi-vitamin or possibly a sleep aid that wouldn’t be much of a concern. However in a weight loss product that recommends only one serving a day, you have to wonder just how much power one can pack into a pill. In the case of MuscleMed’s latest fat burner, the brand have managed to squeeze in a solid performance, but unfortunately it is not without it’s faults.

After throwing back just the one capsule of Phenbuterol, it takes about ten or so minutes for the effects to noticeably kick in. For most supplements it is usually the energy that comes on first, although for this weight loss formula it is the heat. Phenbuterol’s thermogenic effect not only comes over you like someone’s just turned up the thermostat. But it’s a very complete level of heat, one that stretches across your entire body, which also comes without any discomfort of abnormal amounts of sweat. While we did say the energy isn’t the first thing you feel, it does drop in about five or ten minutes after the thermogenesis. It isn’t a massive hit like some of the more energy reliant fat burners available. It’s more of a subtle lift that works in with the heatwave, and gives you more of a focused and productive push. The combination of the two effects, thermogenesis and energy, result in an experience that is almost perfect for cardio or lightweight workouts. You could use it for occasions outside of physical activity, however despite Phenbuterol not amplifying sweat production, it’s powerful heat increase could prove to be a bit of an inconvenience.

Now that we have detailed the product’s positives, as mentioned earlier Phenbuterol does have some flaws. The major issue with the supplement is the one that first caught our attention, the single capsule serving. MuscleMeds instruct you to use just the one, which with 30 capsules per box will see you through a full 30 days. That being said each serving does not see you through a whole day. Phenbuterol’s effects do wear off, and after about three or fours hours the energy does drop out, with the thermogenesis cutting off earlier at around two hours. You end up being left with a two to four hour experience that is effective, but at the same time not very viable as you can not use another capsule. Even if you do choose to go against MuscleMeds recommendations and use two servings in a day, your next problem is value. Two servings a day knocks Phenbuterol down to a 15 day formula, although again that is not recommended, and with no caffeine dose on the label, we were definitely not willing to experiment.

Even though the MuscleMed’s product does perform, and do so at a level some brand’s wish their weight loss supplements did. Phenbuterol has far too many downsides for it to be a worthwhile purchase. Some may be thinking that it’s effects sound great, in which it is a good fat burner when it’s working. For the other 12 hours of the day however you are left to go it alone. If for some reason Phenbuterol still sounds suitable, you need to look at it’s competition. Based on the fact that we didn’t see any additional effects during consistent use across two weeks, the product needs to be considered a single use experience. You then compare it against other single use above average formulas on the market, and Phenbuterol’s 30 serving box falls off the map.

If MuscleMeds do eventually change their recommendations to safely allow for the supplement to be used at two capsules a day. As well as upsize Phenbuterol to a 60 count pack, or even put the current version on sale with about 30% off. We will happily say the product is up there with the best. Unfortunately until then the MuscleMed’s weight loss supplement is held back by it’s serving limits and a little bit in it’s value.
