Updated Clean Gainer sees more sugar, Rival US and GNC upload conflicting facts panels

From Stack3d
Rival Us update Clean Gainer with conflicting facts panel at GNC

On Monday the facts panel for what we are going to call a reformulated Promasil from Rival Us surfaced. It revealed a number of edits to the athlete’s protein powder, with almost all the nutrient amounts changing, as well as the order of protein forms. Today we have the new Nutrivo Clean Gainer facts panel, which at first glance does alternatively appear to be edit free. Although upon closer inspection there are some modifications here and there. Rival’s mass protein still holds on to it’s 560 calories, 90g of carbohydrates, 30g of protein, and 7g of fat. As well as all it’s unique fat and quality carbohydrate sources. With the only real change to Clean Gainer, on top of it’s minor protein form and other ingredient movements, is it’s increase in sugar. The strangest part about it all is that the upsize is to either 8g or 19g. We say those two amounts as GNC have updated their Clean Gainer listing online with the Nutrivo label, and so have Rival Us. Neither however say the same thing, despite both having identical UPCs for vanilla (807156001673) and chocolate (807156001680). They both also have conflicting serving amounts and scoop sizes, suggesting but not confirming more servings. Regardless of who is right and who is wrong, it does appear that fans will be getting a slight increase in sugar when purchasing their updated mass protein. As well as what looks like an additional serving or two.
