So far Optimum Nutrition’s recently previewed Pro Series is set to feature five supplements, Pro BCAA, Pro Booster, Pro Joint, and two presumably reformulated products, Pro Complex and Pro Gainer. While we are still dry on details for four of the Pro supplements, we do have some information on the amino formula Pro BCAA. On top of the two details we confirmed the other day, with a tub weight of 390g and 8g of BCAAs, we also now know that the product is set to feature 5g of glutamine. Without an official facts panel we can not be certain if that 5g of glutamine, is included in the combination Pro BCAA refers to where it lists, 13 of amino acids. But it does seem likely and fitting based on the supplement’s complete title, ‘Pro BCAA & Glutamine Support’. Outside of the formula’s contents we can tell you that Optimum are expected to launch the Pro Series BCAA in two sizes, a 4 and 20 serving. With three tastes on it’s menu, raspberry lemonade, fruit punch, and unflavored, although just raspberry for the trial size 4 serving. Price will of course be another major factor for the product, however with a number of competitive items currently on the market like AmiN.O. Energy and Opti-Men. Strong value is not something Optimum Nutrition are unfamiliar with.
