Scitec Nutrition announced their Muscle Army range in early March. They followed up the mention, with images, then with the launch month of May. A couple of days ago we detailed half of the formulas from the military themed series, four supplements to be exact coming from the desert camo team. Now today we shift over to the woodland colored bottles of Heavy Duty, Carni Canon, Crea Combat, and Warrior Juice for yet another breakdown on the second half of Scitec’s new line.
The staple statement in the Muscle Army range is Warrior Juice. Taking up the protein point of the series, it combines whey and micellar casein to provide 22g of protein per scoop. On top of the muscle building dose Scitec included 4.2g of carbs, 1.3g of fat, 1.5g of glutamine, 1.3g sugar, 1.5g arginine, and a calorie count of 117. The protein is set to launch in two sizes, the 30 serving 900g tub, and the 70 serving 2.1kg, with just one flavor for both, chocolate.
The next two products Crea Combat and Carni Canon, are two more obvious formulas from the Muscle Army line up. Crea features a creatine complex similar to that of the inhouse supplements Attack and Crea-Bomb, however the formula does not stop there. Scitec also added fenugreek, ALA, leucine, and AKG. Carni Canon, the carnitine blend, also goes beyond it’s dual carnitine combination with chromium picolinate, calcium pyruvate, choline bitartrate, and two ingredients also seen in Crea Combat ALA and AKG. Both items are set to launch in capsule form, each one containing 30 servings.
The last product on the list, and the only one from Muscle Army that isn’t competing in a mainstream category is Heavy Duty. The joint health supplement goes a step higher than what Scitec have done with similar formulas like Joint-X and Arthroxon. By including a range of features almost double what you would find in any of their other tissue support products. Some highlights from the contents list are glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM, hyaluronic acid, and NEM.
As expected the second half of Scitec’s Muscle Army is not short on creativity. They included their usual flair like they did with the desert camo team, and took the formulas a little bit further than before. Warrior Juice would be the exception to the rule, however what would a supplement series be without it’s protein powder leader.
