Performance Whey Isolate detailed, Optimum Nutrition release another protein with their blurred Tri-Celle Casein

While Optimum Nutrition did not release any information themselves, the blurred image product that was set for release at the Arnold Classic has turned out to be Tri-Celle Casein. A lot of people, in fact almost everyone assumed the supplement belonged to BSN.

That confusion came from the fact that both Optimum and BSN are Glanbia owned companies. Despite the hype for the new Platinum Series protein, the brand do have another item that is also set for launch. It has yet to be teased, but Performance Whey Isolate is very real.

Optimum Nutrition’s latest protein powder packs a 140 calorie serving with, 30g of whey protein isolate, 1g of fat, and 3g of carbs with 1g sugar. Two other highlights that didn’t make the facts panel are 13.5g of essentials amino acids, and 6.5g of BCAAs. Based on the brand’s first Performance Whey supplement, Isolate will be available in two flavors vanilla and chocolate. The size options at the moment are a little uncertain. However it does look like Optimum are going for better value on this one. With a strong 55 serving tub it has a big step up on the Whey variant which only had 50 scoops, with only 22g of protein in each one. No price has been released for the product although with Tri-Celle Casein launching this weekend, Performance Whey Isolate shouldn’t be too far away.
