You know that you are competing in a competitive category when your supplement is actually really very good, but still doesn’t cut it against the best of the best. Ronnie Coleman’s pre-workout Myo-Blitz is in that exact situation. While it is an incredible formula, the category has been flooded with quality formulas that are slowly becoming too difficult to beat. To add more mayhem to the market Superdrive, Psycho and the highly anticipated ANS Ritual are all about to land making, the pre-workout arena a flat out war zone. Either way here today is the review of the king’s energizing product Myo-Blitz. It did prove to be quite a handful, but as you’re about to find out it doesn’t seem to cut it against the competition.
One look at Ronnie Coleman’s pre-workout and you may think about turning away. It’s straight forward formula of caffeine, creatine, citrulline, and taurine, is basically the same old stuff in a different supplement. It’s lack of B12 definitely puts it near the back, however it does get a few brownie points with it’s original Jack3d inclusion of schizandra extract and the popular AstraGin.
Even though Myo-Blitz does not look the part, it does play the game very well. Due to it’s simple mixture of ingredients nothing was expected of the product. However it does provides a kick strong enough to get you off the couch, or through that workout you thought was going to be impossible. Most pre-workout supplements do offer an array of effects like strength, intensity, drive, focus, and pump. Myo-Blitz on the other hand really only sticks with the energy and intensity department. You won’t feel like you can better last week’s performance, but you will find training much more enjoyable with that kick. It does have a tiny bit of pump power, however that did seem to come from the weights and reps, not the actual product.
Ronnie Coleman’s pre-workout is good, it works, which is a rare find in the supplement industry. With so many formulas out there it’s not hard to find a dud. Either way despite Myo-Blitz’s fulfillment, it doesn’t seem to provide enough edge to launch itself into competition with other products from the category. Due to it’s small amount of effectiveness it is also hard to gauge the pre-workout and compare it to another supplement to give you a better idea of what to expect. Although if there was one, it’s most relatable competitor would have to be Craze. But that is only because of it’s strong energy presence, not so much it’s power.
The bonus with Myo-Blitz is that it is available in a lot of places. Unlike some formulas that don’t stretch the globe. Ronnie fans can enjoy the product all over the world. While it may not take a top 10 position going up against the entire pre-workout category, the supplement definitely has enough to take spots in certain countries where some brand’s just can not reach. Again the formula is a well put together, if you see it for maybe under 20 to $25 it will be a good buy. However retailing for the regular 35 to $40, it’s strength doesn’t justify the cost. Especially in a category where quality comes at such a good price.
