Muscle Pharm Nitrate Series launching in May, classic ingredients remixed for 2013

With the Arnold Classic in full swing, Muscle Pharm decided now to be a better time than ever to announce their new Nitrate Series coming in May. Making up the uniquely labeled line are 5 products, BCA-3 (BCAA), GLT-3 (glutamine), BTA-3 (beta alanine or betaine), ARG-3 (arginine) and CRE-3 (creatine). The supplements are all likely to be individual formulas each making use of the nitrate edition of their abbreviated title ingredient. The 5 nitrate forms are not new to the industry with a number of big brands already using most of them.

Currently Cellucor have arginine nitrate in NO Extreme and NO3. They also have creatine nitrate featured in C4 and M5 Extreme. Another company that uses various nitrates is VPX in their amino cocktail Power Shock. The product loads up all 3 BCAAs in nitrate form as well as beta alanine nitrate. BTA-3 could very well turn out to be an abbreviation of betaine, which in that case we only need to look as far as the recently released Max Pump from Finaflex. A supplement that is fully driven by betaine nitrate. The only uncommon ingredient out of the 5 Muscle Pharm nitrates is glutamine. It may be a rarity but it is not an industry first. With only a few products making use of it, it can be found in a supplement titled BCAA NRG Revolution, by Muscle Sports International.

The launch date for the Nitrate Series is set for May. Unfortunately with the Muscle Pharm cult stronger than ever, and the brand in a powerful mainstream market position. Pre-orders are likely to push back the release date even if production does go to plan.
