It can be confirmed that Cytosport’s new Monster Protein is going to be a completely different formula compared to the slim line’s current protein product, Monster Milk. Each serving of the casein & whey blend contains 25g of protein, 3g fat, and a relatively high 12g of carbs. There are a number of differences between Monster Protein and Monster Milk, and unfortunately all of those variations seem to have been made to cut costs. Unlike Milk, Protein does not pack any extras like the 5g of glutamine, 3g leucine and 3g of Creapure that Milk does. Basically the new Protein is going to have the signature Monster name but with a much better price point and no additional ingredients. Like Monster Pump is to Assault, and Monster Amino is to AminoX. Cytosport are looking to get their new Monster Protein deep in to the competition and up with the other mainstream successors like Myofusion Elite, Combat, and Phase 8.
