Pro-Antium more than a good taste, Ronnie Coleman holds on to his fans with flavor

Protein Powders are not the easiest supplements to review. They are quite similar to creatines and glutamines. You only really notice something if it’s a bad product, as most of the time they work out pretty even. With that in mind certain formulas do offer unique highlights as selling points, making them worth a second look. Originally Pro-Antium, the protein powder by Ronnie Coleman. Didn’t have much going for it due to it’s relatively high price tag. However, like other high quality supplements it does have a number of things that help justify the extra spend.

Pro-Antium comes in 3 flavors with 2 two size options. After tasting every one of the variants and gathering a number of other opinions. No protein will be able to steal Ronnie fans away with flavoring, that’s guaranteed. The double chocolate cookie, strawberry shortcake and vanilla wafer crisp all live up to their gourmet titles. In fact if it were possible they taste a mile better than they sound. There is a sweetness to each variant that makes it almost impossible to believe there is only 1g of sugar per scoop.

While the flavoring is incredible, Pro-Antium does have a lot more to offer than a great after taste. Each serving packs in 5g of creatine, 13.5g EAAs, 3.5g BCAAs, 29g of protein, 4g fat and a relatively high 10g carbs. For the price Ronnie’s protein goes for the formula is surprisingly good value. It is a high end supplement that sells for $60 per 50 serving tub. However all of the extras (vitamins & minerals, aminos, taste) do add up and justify that above average cost.

If you are someone who goes for a little more than your mainstream sub $50 protein powder, Pro-Antium is actually worth a try. It easily beats out other top end products like Nitro-Tech or Supertein by offering quality without loss of value. Instead of lowering each tubs weight down to 3 or 4lbs, the formula sits strong at 4.74lbs. Not many stores sell the Signature Series protein, or any Ronnie supplements for that matter. However if you would like to give Pro-Antium a run either jump on the official store or drop in to GNC.
