Originally Phase8 looked like it was going to be another casein protein. Putting it’s expected retail price way above that of Nitro-Tech Performance. However after seeing it’s formula, the Muscletech supplement actually turned out to be a timed release protein, much like Combat and Gaspari’s new Myofusion Elite. Despite it’s cheaper blend, it was still predicted that Phase8 wouldn’t bring a competitive enough price.
As it turns out the multi-phase protein is going to have the cost we had all hoped Halo and Push10 to have. Currently the 2lb tub is the only size making the rounds but with the price of that sitting around $27-29, the larger 4.6lb option could end up costing more around the $50 mark than expected. It’s value for money will still not be as good as Combat’s, however with a total of 1,300 grams of protein per tub. It levels out to offer the same amount of muscle building servings as Myofusion Elite.
With the price increase from Gaspari, and the possibility of Muscletech selling Phase8 somewhere close to $50. This would be the first time these two brands have actually worked themselves into a battle, where price is not a major factor. Bare in mind that Muscletech do still need to bring their most competitive price. Because even though a shade off $50 is in the cards, 60 wouldn’t be too much of a surprise from them.
