Amino Build has nothing but transparency, Muscletech’s Performance Series hasn’t looked good since Hydroxycut

Muscletech have released the facts label for their new amino acid competitor, Amino Build. The supplement has been designed to take on other big name products in the category like AminoX and Aminolast. Unfortunately, due to the Performance Series no-blend full transparency theme. It is pretty easy to see that the brand’s entry into the market is one of the weakest available.

At 9g a scoop, Amino Build comes in as one of the lightest formulas to compete. Aminolast and AminoX are 14g plus, Monster Amino is 12.5g, and even Cellucor’s thinly packed β-BCAA weighs in at 11.4g. Serving sizes are not always accountable for everything, but in this case, the remainder of the supplement doesn’t really change the mood.

Amino Build consists of 8 ingredients in total. Of that 8, 6 of them can be found in AminoX’s main complex. The major difference between the 2 is that BSN have a combined total of 10g from citrulline, alanine, taurine and the 3 BCAAs, while Muscletech only posts a lazy 5.5g. It turns out that every feature in the new Amino Build can be blown out of the water by a competitor with either a stronger dose or a combination of stronger doses.

Leucine – 2g / 3.5g – Monster Amino

Isoleucine – 1g / 1.25g – β-BCAA

Valine – 1g / 1.25g – β-BCAA

Taurine – 0.5g / 2g – Aminolast

Glutamine – 0.5g / 3g – Amino Recovery

Citrulline – 0.5g / 2g – β-BCAA

Muscletech haven’t really packed this enough to even come close to what is currently on the market. Usually each product has it’s highlight or standout ingredient. With Amino Build, it looks like it has tried to use everything, and ended up with less than average counts and nothing to show off on the label. At this late in the amino acid game the brand really needed to bring something big with the supplement. Aminolast was a recent release that established itself quite well by using a Monster Amino like BCAA blend and a creative range of flavors nobody has been able to touch.

If Amino Build was to land on the shelf for under $20, and the 30 serving count was a misprint for 40. Muscletech fans would have something to get excited about. However with the weak doses printed on the label for everyone to see. You’d be a fool to pick this over any of the other popular formulas. Even though it is surely not the case. Amino Build looks like it has been put together to be a part of today’s amino acid trend, not compete.
