Gaspari’s latest supplement goes by the name of Glycofuse. A replenishment, recovery and hydration formula. It is one of the most unique products to come from the big blue in a while. Detonate and Anatropin are both great supplements
, in fact they sit with, if not above the rest in their respective categories. However Glycofuse is unique because of it’s targeted use.
A lot of people are considering adding this product to their stack but for all the wrong reasons. Yes it is a good supplement however if you are someone wanting to build muscle then no, find something else. Post-workout, amino, creatine or invest more into a testosterone booster.
This is a performance product. It will help 90 minute plus workouts, endurance runners, cyclists the list can go on. By 90 minutes that does not mean someone who pops a pre-workout and lifts weights for 2 hours. Someone actually training at that amount on a regular basis, two or three times a day – for example 10km swimming sessions. Do not purchase this because it is a Gaspari supplement and in saying that do not purchase anything from Gaspari thinking they just make products that build muscle. Glycofuse has it’s place and that is not in the hands of a gym junkie Real Mass eater.
As far as the review goes Glycofuse could not be tested the same way as anything previously trialed. It offered a different set of results so it deserved a different set of tests.
In the usual 45 minute weight sessions all this did was leave a nice little flavor in the mouth. What Glycofuse excelled in was continuous work and endurance exercise. Running, swimming, cycling and rowing all saw Glycofuse help maintain a strong steady flow of energy. A few labor workers run this throughout the day and mentioned the exact same effect. Regular resistance training will see this unbelievably tasty supplement go to waste. Short period gym exercises didn’t use up the energy systems this intra-workout treat was aiming to replenish.
Usually in reviews products get compared to one another. The best two that could be considered Gaspari’s enemies are Gatorade and Cytosport’s Cytomax. Remember Glycofuse is in a very novel market and one that nobody could have predicted the big brand would ever take an interest in.
Understand that this product does work for it’s intended audience. When the label was released there was no question on whether or not it was going to perform. The various reviewers all come back with the expected results but it was a misunderstanding that was bringing the supplement into question, not it’s effects. In the short time between Glycofuse’s launch and this review all the questions seemed to be relating to people wondering when they should use it, what should it replace. Never really getting the idea that the dragon slayer’s latest innovation is for a very different crowd.
Once you finally put a finger on just exactly what kind of athlete you are, chances are this one is not for you. It might even be worth saying sprinters, short distance and explosive competitors are better off without Glycofuse as well. However come game day this would be the perfect supplement to have tucked away for anyone entered in multiple events.
