It was predicted that Amino One was going to be a tablet form EAA supplement. As it turns out Muscle Pharm’s latest is going to be yet another confusing addition to their line up. Hybrid N.O. while being a very different product, is not too far from Assault. They vary with ingredients however cross paths with effects. The same goes for Amino One and it’s very close relative Re-Con. The only benefit this will have is if you are wanting to save money. There is no reason what so ever to use both Amino and the much more powerful Re-Con. Muscle Pharm really needed to make this, Hybrid and whatever other trend followers coming, a lot more distinctive.
A pre and a pump or a pre and a concentrate are not uncommon supplements from a single brand. Mostly because separate they can achieve very unique effects. No company has dared to make both an amino driven product on top of an amino post-workout. BSN have CellMass which is creatine based along with AminoX. Gaspari have SizeOn, again, creatine based which can team with Aminolast. Dymatize used to have Xpand post to go with Xpand pre, now they just have Elite Recovery.
The closest there has been is Muscletech’s Myobuild and Halo. However they split Myo into the concentrate series making it very obvious who that supplement plays nice with.
Muscle Pharm’s strategy seems a little foggy. This should have been a core product, a powder alternative to the BCAA 3:1:2. Even though the company has only announced the 10g amino shot there is not a high chance this will have much else. They may choose to target the PWO window but no matter which end of the workout you want to take Amino 1. Re-Con, Assault and even Bullet Proof make it a pointless supplement. They cost a bit more but when purchasing from the MP hybrid series the effects and results of the formula should be the deciding factor not the price.
